Welcome to online AVC248 Design Self Promotion class. This course is asynchronous so you may create a schedule that works for you. You are not required to come to campus or attend meetings at a certain time.
Please read the syllabus carefully. This course is for students in their last semester of study for the following majors: Digital Media Arts, Photography, Graphic Design, Animation or Fine Arts. You must have a body of work to build a portfolio from. If you do not have work already or are not one of these majors, please drop this class or contact the instructor.
The course officially starts on January 20, 2026, but feel free to get started setting up your software and introducing yourself in Module 1, do not work beyond Module 1. This Canvas course is where all of your assignments will be and where you will turn in work. We will use Discord in this course for critique, discussion, asking questions and building community. Modules will be rolled out at least a week prior to their due date.

- Each time you login to this course, go directly to Modules, you will find all assignments in order there. Move through each module sequentially, do not skip steps or go to Assignments.
