Module 0: Getting Started

Week 1

Objectives

Module 0 objectives. By the end of this module, you will be able to:

• 0.1 Set up and verify every account and piece of software the course uses. (Course Competency 4)
• 0.2 Record and share a short explanation of your work with the recorder that fits your field. (Course Competency 8)
• 0.3 Introduce yourself and your work to the class on Discord and comment on four classmates’ introductions. (Course Competency 4)

Overview

This module sets up everything the course uses: your accounts, your recorder and your place in the class Discord. It has one deadline, the first Thursday at noon. Read Start Here first; it explains how every module and every deadline in this course works.

Due

All times are noon, Arizona time. Each item’s page gives its Discord, due and hard-close times. Work submitted after the due time and before the hard close (noon the next day) loses 10%; nothing is accepted after the hard close.
