AVC 183 Graphic Design

Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to meet the six course competencies listed on Course Information and Policies, from describing the design process to evaluating finished work.

Overview

The first graphic design course. You move from arranging type, to designing inside a real brand, to authoring your own brand and website, with a Discord critique between every step and a Behance portfolio at the end. Fully online and asynchronous, 15 weeks, January 16 to May 9, 2027. Everything is due at noon, Arizona time.
