What this tool is
Defense practice is the reusable engine behind the on-camera defenses in this suite. It powers the Module 7 governance-board defense and the Module 8 capstone defense, and it can be pointed at any question bank. The learner records a response to each randomized prompt, then reviews the recording against the rubric.
Everything happens locally in the browser. Nothing is uploaded, so students can rehearse honestly, as many times as they want, before a graded live defense.
How it works
- Randomized questions are spoken aloud, one at a time, so you cannot pre-script.
- You record your response on camera, then watch it back.
- A rubric guides an honest self-assessment of each answer.
- Reusable across any defense: swap in a different question bank.
The engine runs entirely in the browser and keeps every recording local. It is a rehearsal tool, built to the same no-PII, no-upload standard as the rest of the suite.
