Description
This interview uses a Canva slide deck, one question per slide, to simulate a real job interview. Unlike the Big Interview platform, this version requires you to manage your own pacing. It is a more realistic simulation of a live video interview.

Steps
- Have a specific job in mind before you begin.
- Open OBS. Make sure your face is visible in the bottom-right corner.
- Open the interview deck: Design Self Promotion Mock Interview (Canva).
- Each slide contains one question. Answer it, then advance. Do not rehearse, let answers come naturally. In a real interview you will not know the questions in advance.
- Have your portfolio accessible on a tablet, phone, or second screen.
- Watch your recording after you finish, note your pacing, eye contact, and how you came across.
- Upload to your school YouTube. Submit the URL and a brief reflection (2-3 sentences: Was this valuable? What would you do differently?).

Remember the STAR method: Situation → Task → Action → Result. Use it especially on “Tell me about a time when...” questions.
