Resume 4th Draft

This assignment measures Module Objective 2.2, which supports Course Competency 2.

Objectives

Overview

Your resume content is strong. This draft is about visual polish and typographic precision, so the resume is free of errors and ready to send to an employer.

10 points, Process Work. About 2.5 hours.

Instructions

  1. Review all earlier feedback.
  2. Set consistent type sizes, tabs (not spaces), even margins and a clear hierarchy.
  3. Proofread spelling, grammar and punctuation. Read it bottom to top to catch typos your eye skips.
  4. Optional: book a review with GCC Career Services.
  5. Export a tagged PDF.

Example

Check: are section headings all the same size and weight? Is spacing between sections consistent? Are bullet indents identical? Are dates formatted the same way every time (May 2026, not May ’26 in one place and 05/26 in another)?

Accessibility

Make the document readable by a screen reader: use real heading styles (Heading 1 and Heading 2 in Google Docs or Word, paragraph styles in InDesign), keep text contrast high, add alt text to every image or logo, and export a tagged PDF (InDesign: Create Tagged PDF; Word or Google Docs: keep document structure tags on when you save as PDF).

Submission

Upload the tagged PDF.
