Midterm Portfolio Preparation Plan
This assignment measures Module Objective 4.2, which supports Course Competency 8.
Objectives
- 4.2 Plan a week-by-week production schedule that addresses the priority feedback on your portfolio. (Course Competency 8)
Overview
Your portfolio is the centerpiece of your job search. Before you present it at midterm, you need a plan: which projects you will show, what needs improvement, and when you will do the work.
10 points, Process Work. About 1.5 hours.
Instructions
- Review all the work from your degree. Choose at least four projects to show at midterm.
- For each, write three to five sentences on the goal, your role, the process and the outcome.
- List everything each project needs fixed or updated before midterm.
- Build a week-by-week schedule from now to the midterm, naming the project and task for each week (for example, “Week 7: fix kerning on the poster title and re-export at 300 dpi”).
- Choose where your portfolio will live. See Portfolio Platforms for Behance, Adobe Portfolio, ArtStation and Google Sites.
- Gemini may turn your task list into a draft schedule. Check every date and task against your own list, and add an AI-use log row.

“Brand identity for a fictional sustainable clothing company. The goal was a cohesive visual system that felt modern, earthy and premium. I developed the logo, palette, type system, packaging mockups and a brand standards guide.”
Accessibility
Make the document readable by a screen reader: use real heading styles (Heading 1 and Heading 2 in Google Docs or Word, paragraph styles in InDesign), keep text contrast high, add alt text to every image or logo, and export a tagged PDF (InDesign: Create Tagged PDF; Word or Google Docs: keep document structure tags on when you save as PDF).
