Steps

- Choose a job you are interested in, use one from our discussions or find a new one.
- Write a response (3-5 sentences) to: ‘Tell me about yourself and why you are a good fit for this position.’ Write it as if you have graduated and are applying for that specific role.

Example
A weak answer starts with “I was born in...” or “I’m currently a student...” A strong answer is professional and targeted:
“I’m a motion graphics designer with a focus on broadcast and commercial work. I specialize in After Effects and Cinema 4D and I’ve spent two years building a portfolio of title sequences and product animations. I’m drawn to this role at [Company] because of your work on [specific project], my background in [skill] would let me contribute immediately.”
