When an interviewer asks ‘Do you have any questions for us?’ it is not a formality, it is a test. Candidates who ask thoughtful, researched questions leave a stronger impression than those who say ‘no, I think you covered everything.’

Steps
- Watch for inspiration: 20 Questions for the END of Your Job Interview (YouTube).
- Choose the same company you researched in the Interview Research assignment (or another role you are targeting). Use your research to develop questions specific to that company.
- Prepare 2 questions. At least one should reference something specific about the company.
- Open OBS and record yourself asking both questions as if the interviewer just said ‘Do you have any questions for us?’
- Upload to YouTube and submit the URL here.
Example
Questions that make a strong impression:
- “I read that your studio recently expanded into interactive media, how is the animation team working with that side of the business?”
- “What does success look like in the first 90 days for a junior animator in this role?”
- “How does feedback typically work between the art director and the animation team on a project?”
Avoid questions about salary, benefits, or anything you could find in 30 seconds on their website.
