Module 6 · Figma Website

Figma: Three-Page Website

Objectives

  1. 6.2 Design a three-page website that applies your own brand consistently across every screen. (Course Competency 5; Create)

This assignment measures Module Objective 6.2, which supports Course Competency 5.

Overview

Three pages that work together: they look like one site, not three posters.

Points: 30, Projects

Estimated time: about 5 hours

Due: Thursday, April 29 at noon; post to Discord by Wednesday, April 28 at noon

Instructions

  1. Build the three pages from your wireframes, using only your own styles. No one-off colors or sizes; if you need something the styles lack, add it to the system.
  2. Same grid, type scale and spacing on every page; logo used consistently.
  3. Check text contrast with the WebAIM contrast checker.
  4. Submit your Figma share link. Test it in a private browser window first.

Turning it in

  1. Post your work to #avc183-graphic-design-1 on Discord as PNG or JPG, with alt text, by noon the day before the due date.
  2. Comment on three classmates’ posts. Each comment names one design principle (or, in Module 4, one brand rule) and points to where it appears in the work.
  3. Screenshot your post and your three comments and compile them on one Miro board.
  4. Submit the Miro screenshot and your Figma link to Canvas by noon on the due date.

AI use

No AI use for the design. Gemini may help draft the page copy; log it. Record every use in your AI-use log. Gemini is used only with your Maricopa account.
