Sunny days, but cold nights in the 30s. Strong sun at altitude, pack warm layers for the evenings.
♨️ Hot springs (on the way)
Indian Hot Springs, Idaho Springs is the easy one, right off I-70 about 40 minutes from Golden as you head up. Big mineral pool, private baths, and the warm caves.
Also near Idaho Springs: Raspberry Hot Springs (private, reservation only). Summit County (Frisco/Dillon) has no hot springs of its own, the closest are back in Idaho Springs on the drive up, or a day trip to Hot Sulphur Springs (about 1 hr north) or Glenwood Springs (about 90 min west).
