Same wellness-and-beauty world you already gravitate to, but as a real career with room to grow. A med spa medical assistant keeps the treatment side running for the providers: the plastic surgeons, the nurse injectors, the skincare pros. Calm, pretty rooms. No ER chaos. And the school path is short and close to home.

You greet and room clients, prep the treatment rooms, set up for Botox, filler, and laser, take the before-and-after photos, hand things to the provider, and walk clients through aftercare. It is people-facing and hands-on, and it rewards being warm, organized, and good with people, which is already you.

In Denver these roles run about $22 to $30 an hour, so full-time is roughly $46K to $62K, and often more once a med spa adds bonuses on treatments and products. And if you ever want to be the one doing the injections, that is a nurse path you can grow into from right here.
How to get in
Red Rocks does both
You were right: Red Rocks Community College, the closest campus to home, runs a Medical Assisting program and an Esthetician skincare program. So you could start with medical assisting and stack skincare later, or lean whichever way excites you. Short programs, not a four-year anything. Pima Medical Institute is the faster-track backup if you want it.

How to get qualified (just this one job)
Good news: no long degree. Red Rocks Community College (closest to home) runs both a Medical Assisting certificate and an Esthetician skincare program, so you can lean whichever way lights you up, and even stack them. Pima Medical Institute is the faster associate route you already toured.
The smallest first step: pop into Rejuvenate MedSpa on Heritage Road and ask if you could shadow for an afternoon, or just open a Red Rocks program page and read for five minutes. No commitment. Only a look.

Aesthetic Medical Assistant, Denver med spas
Med spas across Denver keep aesthetic assistant and medical assistant roles open as the industry grows, and the one on Heritage Road is a two-minute drive. Many will train the aesthetic side on the job once you have the medical-assistant basics, so the school step opens the door and the rest you learn by doing.
